On September 6th, Louisiana Governor John Edwards amended his earlier State of Emergency proclamation # 170 JBE 2021 (relating to Hurricane Ida). He has suspended legal deadlines until September 24, 2021. In practice, this means that evictions cannot be filed, tried, or enforced until that date. Read more below:
