DEADLINE REMINDER - USACE Operation Blue Roof Program:
Survivors who have a primary residence within the 25 parishes approved (same as 25 IA declared parishes) and received wind damages have until September 30, 2021 to register for Operation Blue Roof.
Only primary residences are eligible for this program
Roofs with 50% of the roof structure intact and capable of providing safe shelter are eligible
This is a temporary repair to enable sheltering in place; not a permanent solution
To get assistance, survivors must sign a “Right of Entry” (ROE) form to allow Corps staff and contractors to access their private property and assess roof damage
