I am sharing an updated graphic from Crisis Clean Up’s hotline that can be widely shared and used to report damages/request VOAD assistance. The Crisis Clean Up hotline number is 504-350-0788.
Free Disaster Legal Services – free civil legal aid may be available to survivors on issues such as landlord-tenant problems, disaster food stamp denials, disaster unemployment, contractor fraud, FEMA disputes, etc. Please see the attached flyer for more info. Disaster Legal Helpline: 1-844-244-7871
VOAD Rebuilding Partners – please remember that you will need to log into Crisis Clean Up and request a redeploy to “SE Tornadoes Mar 2022”.
VOLUNTEERS:
Please let me know if your organization is planning on deploying to the impacted areas and would like to have additional volunteer support. Please provide a weblink or email address for volunteers to sign up directly with your organization, as well as a short description of the volunteer services to be performed.
DONATIONS:
St. Bernard Parish is working on setting up 3 locations for resource distribution. At this time, we do not have any available addresses. As always, please refrain from asking for clothing donations.
Please do not collect any food (perishable or non-perishable) at this time, as I am coordinating with mass feeding partners who have reached out since last night.
Diaper donations & feminine hygiene product donations @ Junior League New Orleans HQ (4319 Carondelet St) starting today through Sunday, 9 AM – 3 PM.
United Way SELA HQ (2515 Canal St): receiving donations from 10 AM – 2 PM. They are collecting diapers, baby wipes, feminine hygiene products and toiletries. NO food and clothing at this time.
